short rant

It's not even 9 am and so far we've have one tear-filled time out after Amelia pushed Aven off her chair, one horrid diaper that warrented a full shower for Aven (and made me long for the ease of disposable diapers - though not enough to actually put one on her) , after which she promptly threw-up blueberry/banana smoothie all over her white towel...the dryer is on strike so said diaper and towel will need to hang on the line after being washed...

Time to strap the little beasties in the stroller and run like a mad woman....until I feel sane again!

Good for you for choosing running, way better than the coffee-pastries-beer diet I turned to when knee deep with a toddler and baby!

Well if it is any comfort, I used cloth diapers thirty some years ago, when everyone else was using disposable ones. With my oldest who is 39 now we couldn't afford disposable ones, with the youngest who is 36 now we could afford it, but he was allergic to them. So I dipped those cloth diapers in that diaper pail, and wrung them out and into the washer they went. Actually now of course they say we are saving our planet using cloth diapers. If they do the same to the fish and sea life as the plastic grocery bags, I am glad I used cloth ones. Of course maybe I am one of the weird ones who care about the planet we live in. But all you have to do is look around and see what our conveniences are costing us. What they are robbing our own children and future generations of. We have a lake in our city called Sliver Lake. It was Silver at one time. I am 60, and when I was in High School, I used to swim in it. Now it is way too dirty. Plastic bags well read on my web site what it will do to fish life in our oceans. We should care, but I can't say it is my mot popular web site. But as long as I have some readers and some followers, then I will keep posting and informing. After all God only gave us this one planet, I don't think he'll give us another one.
Well sorry I rambled, but keep up what you are doing, I am proud of you.
