back again

It feels like a long time since I've posted anything. And to be honest, I've given a lot of thought to taking a break from the blog. I'm still undecided- not sure why, but I've been unable to rally much enthusiasm for taking the time to create a post...so I'm still on the fence. It seems like whenever I try to focus on getting a post together, the girls start torturing each other, or giving each other showers with the dog water, or decide that they are starving RIGHT THIS MINUTE...and I think...what am I doing...?

Do I really have time for this- in the chaos of our lives...is this really worth taking the time for? I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks about this from time to time...the inherent value of our blogs, our lives recorded and shared...

I would love to hear anyone's thoughts, viewpoints on why we do this...why we continue to.

So....

A quick recap of our trip to Florida:

I LOVE the ocean...and the beach. Someday I will live by the ocean, I think. Standing beside so much water, so much life moving, churning, pulled by the moon- it is such a deep soul-recharge for me. I can take a deep breath, and really mean it.

My mom loves the ocean like no one else I know. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to go diving with their water-worshipping grandma.

Doesn't she looked thrilled to be at the 'Happiest Place on Earth?'

On our way back home, we spent 9.5 hours in the Salt Lake City Airport, courtesy of Delta. It was a bit hellish, but has made me feel like if I can handle that, I can travel anywhere with these kids. Horribly misberable old lady in the seat in front of us during a 5+ hour flight?...we've got that covered...insanely long layover?...bring it on!
